Dance for All Thailand
Art & Dance Education for All
Our Philosophy
Dance for All Thailand was founded in April 2026 with a simple belief:
"Every child deserves the opportunity to discover who they are through movement and the arts."
For too long, art and dance education in Thailand have often been viewed as secondary to academic achievement. Dance is frequently associated with technique, performance, competition, or physical ability, while art is often treated as an optional subject rather than an essential part of human development. Opportunities for children to learn through play, creativity, movement, and artistic exploration remain limited, particularly outside international and alternative educational settings.
We believe education should never be limited by language, academic ability, social background, or opportunity. Movement and the arts are universal languages. Before children communicate through words, they communicate through movement. Through dance, music, storytelling, visual art, sensory exploration, and creative play, children develop confidence, curiosity, empathy, imagination, and the ability to express their thoughts, emotions, and identities.
Our philosophy has been shaped by both personal experience and international practice. Growing up in Chonburi, our founder traveled nearly two hours every weekend from age seven to fifteen to attend dance classes in Bangkok. Those years of dedication taught an important lesson: when children are given both opportunity and encouragement, passion can flourish regardless of where they come from.
Later, studying Dance Education in New York and participating in educational exchange programs in Uganda further transformed this understanding. These experiences demonstrated that movement is not simply an artistic activity—it is a powerful educational language that supports thinking, communication, collaboration, emotional development, creativity, and lifelong learning. More importantly, it showed how movement and the arts can bridge differences in language, culture, and background, creating inclusive learning environments where every child has a voice. These experiences became the foundation of Dance for All Thailand.
Our mission is not simply to teach dance.
Our mission is to transform the way people experience learning.
We believe Dance Education goes far beyond technique, choreography, performance, or competition. It is a holistic educational approach that nurtures creativity, confidence, communication, collaboration, body awareness, empathy, critical thinking, and lifelong curiosity. These qualities strengthen not only artistic development but also academic learning, emotional wellbeing, and human connection.
We hope children become confident explorers, parents become partners in learning, teachers become facilitators of creativity, and communities recognize the arts as an essential part of everyday life.
Most importantly, we hope to make art and dance education more accessible for everyone. Art should never feel distant, exclusive, or reserved for a talented few. It belongs in our homes, schools, museums, galleries, parks, communities, and everyday experiences.
Because movement has always been part of being human.
Art has always been part of being human.
When children are given the freedom to move, imagine, create, and explore, they discover not only the world around them—but also the potential within themselves. We believe every meaningful artistic experience plants a seed. Some seeds bloom immediately. Others may take years. But every experience leaves something behind.
Through movement, creativity, and shared experiences, we hope to nurture future artists, future audiences, compassionate communities, and lifelong learners who continue to create, inspire, and learn from one another.
Our Approach
Dance for All Thailand integrates Dance Education with movement, visual art, music, storytelling, sensory play, theatre, nature, and creative inquiry to create multisensory learning experiences. Rather than asking children to memorize, imitate, or produce identical outcomes, we encourage them to observe, question, experiment, collaborate, reflect, and discover their own creative voices.
Our educational practice is informed by international Dance Education principles, including Laban Movement Analysis, which views movement as a language that can be observed, interpreted, documented, translated, and shared across cultures and artistic disciplines.
Through this approach, movement becomes a bridge between thinking and feeling, imagination and expression, visual art and performance, academic learning and lived experience.
